Intracultural differences between the northern and southern regions of Italy may provide an interesting field for research into this kind of transcultural hypothesis. A seminal work written by Giustino Fortunato had the telling title: `Le due Italie'. In that paper, Fortunato explained how the
disparity between northern and southern Italy concerned not only industrialization and economical prosperity, but also cultural values and societal
structures. Southern Italy is the most backward and largest territory in Europe

Ho vissuto molto bene a Catania in Sicilia! Preferisco il Sud d‘Italia! Il Nord è quasi come Europa settentrionale soltanto con un tempo migliore! 😂

I live in the Norh East of Italy and I think that differences among North and South are too wide to keep current status. I think more freedom has to be applied, more federalism, like for instance in the US. This doesn't mean that we need to split in two, but I would give more freedom to regions. For instance we can divide it in two, North and South, and the regions belonging to one or the other can meet every 3 months, for instance, to discuss about new rules or change in them. I think South Italy should concentrate more on tourism, having less infrastructures and better climate. South Italy in my opinion should give more freedom to open business related to tourism and agriculture. I would also let open casinos and allow more permissive way of living. Like in Texas, I would cut IRPEF compensating with property taxes. I would allow every region to open a casino and a few districts with more permissive law allowing for instance prostitution and light use of cannabis like in the north of Europe. We can have dedicated districts for business that do not need infrastructures, like IT, medical or research. Having less IRPEF some businesses in the North can move South keeping the production in the North. Funds need to be dedicated to education while on the other hand military expenditure can be reduced.

Tu intendi di trasformare l'Italia in una federazione o in una confederazione ? Intendi che ogni singola regione diventi uno stato con in buona parte una propria autonomia decisionale ?

Può anche restare così com'è ma le regioni devono avere più autonomia. Io creerei due macroregioni che possono decidere su alcune cose. Ad esempio se 10 regioni della macroregione sono d'accordo sull'abbassare l'IRPEF, questo dev'essere possibile.

Non è la soluzione… l’unica cosa da fare è quella di unirci come fanno in Francia quando qualcosa non va e di stravolgere il parlamento, il senato e la camera per poter essere forti

Beh in realtà a nessuno sta bene questa situazione è solo che siamo un popolo pigro, a cui piace pensare solamente al proprio orticello, guardare le partite di calcio, guardare il grande fratello, lamentarsi tutto il giorno riguardo ogni cosa però non fare assolutamente niente per cambiare e quindi riderci sopra, sdrammatizzando che quelli a palazzo Chigi, Quirinale, eccetera, ci stanno spremendo come limoni… però va tutto bene eh, l’importante è mangiare tanto, bere vino, indebitarsi per poter esibire la ricchezza che non si ha e pensare superficialmente aspettando che qualcun altro faccia tutto il lavoro e di stare a guardare dal proprio divano dopo una pennichella domenicale (ciliegina sulla torta)

In realtà a molti "anziani" sta bene questa situazione. Smuovere il Paese significherebbe toglierli il bastone del comando perchè per smovere il Paese bisogna spostare il bastone del comando verso i più giovani.

Condivido quanto scritto da Saras96. Bravissima! Giustissimo! A chi governa conviene non fare nulla per migliorare le condizioni del Sud Italia e continuare ad utilizzarlo come bacino di voti. Poi ogni tanto distribuire qualche soldino tipo reddito di cittadinanza e fare un po' di demagogia come sul ponte sullo stretto di Messina. E avanti così!

Comunque al sud hanno un carattere più socievole. Al nord ormai dominano chiusura ed egoismo.

Penso che ogni regione del mondo sia caratterizzata da un carattere forgiato dalle caratteristiche della zona. E' vero che al Nord siamo meno socievoli. Al Nord siamo comunque più socievoli di tedeschi e alcuni nord-europei, per dire.

Il forum esiste per confrontarsi. Certo che ognuno si tiene le proprie idee. E se qualcuno vuole aggiungere qualcosa, non vedo perché non dovrebbe farlo.
